We were married around Christmas time in 1995

Since that time both Chris and I have earned degrees in engineering, together we have been blessed with 4 boys, and we have moved from Logan to the Salt Lake City Area in Utah. We were lifelong members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until we learned that most of its foundation is based on false assertions, and that church founder Joseph Smith is NOT a prophet of god.

As our family began to grow, we came to feel that the greatest opportunity for our children to learn would be at home. Consequently we began to learn about homeschooling.

As with education, we grew to understand that the best outcome for our children in birth would be afforded at home. With our youngest we were even blessed to be able to have him without any assistance during the birth. After Elijah's birth, I continued to work on ending state funded genital cutting of baby boys and Utah became the 11th state to stop Medicaid payments for circumcision.
